When I read about the ability to invest virtual money in gaming, my first thought was “how silly”, but now that I’ve bought a few shares in the Video Game Stock Market (VGSM), I find myself trying to find good deals like anyone in the Day Trading business :)
Now, the majority of people are going to find this stupid and trite, but it can be construed as an interesting social study on how individuals collectively value their video games. I find it interesting that so many people would actively join this website and (myself included) have had their attention diverted to make sure I don’t screw up.

I won’t go into an in depth detail on the mechanics of idea because the site does that well and explains everything well. I encourage you to check it out and have a good time.
